FAQ

What's the booking process like?
  1. Fill out the contact form by clicking the "let's chat" button OR send me a text or email with your details and questions.
  2. Hear back from me to schedule either an in person meeting or video chat.
  3. Receive a wedding photography contract & invoice from me.
  4. Sign and return the contract & pay your retainer. (This can be done online or in person)
  5. Your wedding date is officially on my calendar! :)
  6. Schedule engagement session if applicable.
  7. Schedule our final meeting where we go over final details and create the photo timeline and family photo list.
  8. Pay remaining balance.
  9. We do the thing! (:
What's a "Photo Timeline"?

A photo timeline is a guide for the day. We work together to fit all of the events in with realistic timeframes.

Here is an example of a timeline with 8 Hour Coverage for a summer wedding:)

  • Photographer arrival: 2:00
  • Getting ready candids & Detail shots: 2:00-2:30
  • Bride in dress: 2:30-2:45
  • Dad first look: 2:45-2:55
  • Groom first look + bride & groom portraits: 3:00-3:30
  • Bridal Party Portraits: 3:30-4:00
  • Family Portraits: 4:00 - 4:30
  • Hide for ceremony: 4:30
  • Ceremony: 5:30 -6:00
  • Sign marriage license: 6:00-6:15
  • Entrance to reception: 6:30
  • Dances: 6:30-6:45
  • Dinner & toasts: 7-7:30
  • Cake & tosses : 7:30-8
  • Open dance floor: 8:00
  • Sunset photos: 8:20 - 8:50
  • Dancing candids: 9:00 on
  • Photographer departure: 10:00

Timelines make note of sunset & golden hour for the date and location. We will work together to create a family photo list together as well. This list ensures we get the combinations desired and stay on schedule.

How much is the retainer (deposit) to book?

Wedding and Elopement Retainer is $500

Engagement Session Retainer is $100

This will reflect your remaining balance. Final payment is due one week before the wedding date or engagement session date. All retainers are non-refundable.

do you Travel?

YES! If your wedding, elopement or engagement session is outside Spokane County there will be a travel charge.

Please include the location details in your message. It will come down to covering either gas or airfare along with lodging when applicable.

Timeline for Full Gallery Turnaround?
  • Sneak Peeks for Weddings, Elopements & Engagements (30-80 photos) have a 48 hour turnaround.
  • Final Wedding or Elopement Gallery turnaround is 2 - 4 months.

You can purchase a 30 day expedited full wedding gallery turnaround for $600.

Cancellation or Rescheduling Fees?

I do not charge cancellation or rescheduling fees. However, your retainer (deposit) is non-refundable.
